This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your personal information within our services. If you reside in the European Economic Area ("EEA") or the United Kingdom, Francisco Bernabé Martínez is the data controller of your personal information collected through the services, as defined in our Terms and Conditions. For other users, Francisco Bernabé Martínez is the data controller. It is important that you read this policy entirely, but here's a summary to get you started:
We deeply care about privacy. We are committed to creating spaces where people can hang out and enjoy finding online matches and facilitating meetings between players. Respecting user privacy is a key part of this mission.
We do not sell your personal information. Our business is based on subscriptions and other paid products, as well as the insertion of advertisements on the platform, not on selling personal information to third parties. We use third-party applications for advertising monetization as well as for login; specific information collected during website usage, application usage or interactions with advertisements is detailed below.
We limit the information we need. The necessary information allows us to create accounts, provide and maintain services, and fulfill our commitments to our users and legislation. The rest is optional.
We deeply care about security. Our specialized Trust and Safety team strives to keep our community safe. We also use certain information to identify violations of our Community Guidelines and prevent harmful content.
We give you control. We offer you the ability to control your privacy on FightersTech.
We created FightersTech aiming to be the best place to find other players online, create new communities, enhance competitive user skills, or simply as a meeting point for new players. FightersTech helps you connect with others, whether you belong to a club, a group of players, or just a bunch of friends.
The term "services" has the same meaning as defined in the Terms and Conditions. This includes the FightersTech application, accessible via mobile, web, desktop, console, or any electronic device with internet and a web browser. We also have a website, a blog, and a support center, and may collect data via other means, such as surveys, emails, and social networks. If we create other products, our services will include those too.
We may also use content published in larger spaces to develop, improve, and enhance our services, including features designed to help users catch up on conversations or other safety measures to identify harmful content within the services, as well as to promote compliance with the Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines. These are important aspects for us, and we believe they will help make FightersTech an even better place for our users. We will always strive to make you aware of the type of space you are in — although we have no control over where invitation links are shared or server permissions. You can limit how your data is used, as described in the “How you can control your privacy” section below. You should keep all of this in mind when using our services.
We make money from paid subscriptions and advertising content, but not from selling your personal information to third parties — certain applications, such as Google Ads, do collect some information, which we will detail below.
Information Collected and Use.
We collect certain information when you use FightersTech, including information you provide, automatically collected information, and information from other sources.
Account information. When you create a FightersTech account, you must also create a username and password, as well as provide us with a way to contact you—such as an email address or a phone number. We will also require your date of birth and, in some cases, may request additional data to verify your age. You may be required to verify your account or provide further information—such as a verified phone number. You will also have the option to add your name or the name you would like to be displayed.
Content you create. This includes your profile data and the information you provide when creating servers, searching for players, or setting up matches. As a general rule, we do not store server content except as necessary to provide the service. In the future, we may develop features that help users interact through voice and video content, such as creating or sending short recordings. If so, this policy will be updated accordingly and communicated in advance.
Payment information. If you purchase paid services through FightersTech, you may be required to provide a valid payment method and associated billing details, including your full name and billing address. Our payment processors, such as PayPal, Google, Apple, or RevenueCat, receive and process all of this information. Depending on the processor, we may also receive and store some billing data, such as the last four digits of the credit card used in the transaction. If, in the future, we decide to process payments ourselves, we will receive and handle this information directly.
Information about your actions. We collect information about how you use FightersTech and your activities within the services. This includes information such as the friends you add, the users, bots, and applications you interact with, the games you play on your device, the servers or other communities you join, your roles within servers, the decisions you make regarding content moderation, and other related actions. You can control the extent to which this information is collected, used, and shared, as described in the “How to control your privacy” section below.
Information for optional features. For certain features to function, such as contact synchronization, you may need to provide us with additional data—or grant us access to it. This also includes third-party integrations that you choose to activate and the data you authorize those third parties to share with us. For example, when you link an email account, we may collect data from it to display on your profile or status—if you have chosen that option.
Other information you provide directly. You may have the option to provide us with additional information when using FightersTech. For example, you can participate in surveys to share your opinions about our services or provide information to the FightersTech support teams.
We also automatically collect information about you when you use FightersTech. This includes:
Device information. We collect information about the device you use to access the services. This includes data such as your IP address, information about your operating system, your browser, and settings of your device’s hardware such as the microphone or camera.
Information about your use of the applications or websites. For example, we collect information about logins and other circumstances related to your use of our services—such as the pages, servers, and channels you visit, the activities you participate in, the features you use, and the sections or embedded content you interact with.
Other information we collect automatically. When you perform certain actions on other sites, we may receive information about you. For example, when we advertise FightersTech on third-party platforms and you click on the ad, we may receive information about the ad you saw and on which platform it appeared. Likewise, we may also receive certain information when you click on a promotional link, such as the website you came from. In addition to the data we collect, certain applications like Google Ads collect demographic information — this includes details such as a user’s age, gender, geographic location, language, and interests — behavioral information — Google Ads may collect data on how users interact with ads, such as which ads were shown, whether they were clicked, and any actions taken after the click — device information: Google Ads may collect details about the device used to access the ads, such as device type, operating system, IP address, and device location — network information: this may include details about the user’s network, such as their internet service provider and connection speed — cookies and similar technologies — Google Ads uses these technologies to gather information about user behavior and interests.
Advertiser access to this data is limited and anonymized to protect user privacy. Advertisers generally have access only to aggregated information about groups.
We may receive information from cookies—small text files placed on your computer or device—and similar technologies. You can review the details about FightersTech’s use of cookies and how you can manage your cookie permissions in our Cookies Policy.
We may receive information about you from other sources, including other users and third parties, and combine that information with what we already have about you. For example, if you interact with our social media account on another platform, we may receive certain information about you, such as your username on that platform.
In accordance with certain data protection laws, such as the GDPR, companies must have a “legal basis”—a valid reason—to process personal information. FightersTech relies on different legal grounds to process your information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We use the information we collect—account information, content you create, payment information, information about your actions, information used to enable optional features, other information you provide directly, device information, information about your use of applications or websites, other information we collect automatically, and information we receive from other sources—for the following purposes and based on those legal grounds. In each case, we explain why we process your data and how we do so for each specific purpose.
To fulfill our contract with you
To provide you with the services. We use your information to provide you with FightersTech services. For example, when you start a video call, we process your images and audio to make it work. Similarly, we collect and store the messages you send and display them as you intend. We also use the information you provide to create and manage your account and to facilitate purchases. When you enable optional features—such as connecting your FightersTech account to other platforms—we use the information from those services to enable the functionality—for instance, showing what song you're listening to on another service within the FightersTech app.
To fulfill our commitments to the FightersTech community. We go to great lengths to make FightersTech a safe, positive, and inclusive place. To that end, we may use your data to monitor users and services that violate the Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, and other policies, as well as to take appropriate action. This includes responding to user reports, generating content transcripts during investigations, detecting fraud and malware use, and proactively scanning attachments and other content for harmful or illegal activity. We may also use certain information—such as reported content that violates the Terms and Conditions, as well as other public content like posts, usernames, avatars, banners, user profiles, and server names, icons, and banners—to build automated models and systems that more quickly detect, classify, and take action against prohibited behavior or content.
To contact you. We use your data to contact you regarding matters related to your account. For example, to verify it or secure it with two-factor authentication. We may also use it to inform you about important changes affecting our policies or products, or to send you information about products you have purchased.
To provide customer support. We use your information to respond to your questions about our products and services, and to investigate bugs or other issues.
For our legitimate business interests
To protect our services. We use your information to maintain the security of our services, prevent misuse, and enforce our Terms and Conditions and other policies against users who violate them.
To report on our company’s performance. We use your information to track key business metrics, produce financial statements, respond to regulatory obligations, and resolve billing issues.
To personalize the product. We use your data to personalize our services. This information is used to tailor your experience on FightersTech, such as the content shown in discovery sections—so you see the most relevant communities, activities, apps, or content first—or features that highlight activity on FightersTech that may interest you. This helps us present FightersTech promotions and features that may be of interest to you, both our own and those of our partners. As outlined in the “How you can control your privacy” section below, you can control the extent to which we use your personal information to provide you with a personalized experience on FightersTech.
To improve our services. We use your data to better understand how users interact with our services and which features or products interest them the most, in order to develop functionalities that make FightersTech a safer and easier platform to use, as well as to understand and improve our services overall. This includes data about how you use our services and how servers are structured. We may also use certain publicly available content to better understand, for example, what topics servers focus on and which content is most engaging for their members. As with other purposes, you can limit how we use your personal information for these purposes.
To advertise our services on FightersTech and other platforms. We are very proud of our product. We may use our services and channels to tell you directly about our paid services and other features. Additionally, we invest resources in advertising FightersTech on other platforms. In these cases, we use certain information to help us distribute our ads, measure the effectiveness of our product advertising, and improve these initiatives going forward.
To contact you. We may use your data to inform you about new products or features we think you might like, to request your feedback about our services, or to inform you about experiments we believe may interest you. You can always choose to opt out of receiving these marketing messages. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sending you this type of communication.
To comply with our legal obligations
We retain and use your data in connection with potential legal claims when necessary, and for regulatory, statutory, and audit purposes. For example, we store this information if required by law or by a court order or regulatory authority. Additionally, when you exercise any of the rights granted to you by law to access, modify, or delete your personal information, we may request additional data to verify your identity.
With your consent
We may also collect and use your personal information with your consent. For example, before sending you marketing communications when required by law. You can withdraw your consent at any time—usually through our own services—but please note that doing so may prevent you from using services or features that require the collection or use of the relevant personal information.
How we share your data
When you direct us to. By adding your content to the services, you are asking us to make it available to specific people or communities. Access to a particular space determines who can view the information. In the case of servers, these permissions are set by the owners or administrators, who control whether access is through invitation links or open to anyone. These permissions, like the size of the server, may change over time. Similarly, if you link your FightersTech account to a third-party service—such as a streaming service or a gaming platform—embed content, interact with third-party content published on FightersTech, or participate in a server with third-party features enabled, such as bots, we may share certain data with that service or with other FightersTech users so they can manage it. Additionally, if you purchase goods or services from other FightersTech users, we may share certain data with them to facilitate the delivery of the goods or performance of the services, and to help them improve their business. We will also share information that you direct us to share or that you authorize us to share.
With our providers. We may share information with service providers who perform specific tasks on our behalf. This includes payment processors such as PayPal, Google, Apple, and RevenueCat, who handle payments for us; cloud service providers such as Google, PostgreSQL, Kafka, AWS, Treblle, Sendgrid, and Railway, who host our data and infrastructure; advertising service providers—including cookie collection—such as Google Ads; and user authentication systems such as Auth0. We may also provide limited information to advertising platforms to help us reach people we believe may be interested in our products and to measure the effectiveness of our ads on their platforms. We do this to attract more users to FightersTech and grow our business, but we only share the information that is strictly necessary for their services. For example, we may let them know that you have installed our app or registered to use FightersTech.
To provide Push notifications, our app uses Expo, which seamlessly integrates Apple’s Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). By accepting to receive notifications, the user consents to the sending of a notification token to these services, which is necessary for the notification to reach the appropriate device.
To this end, we provide a brief description of the services used by our providers, along with links to their respective policies and terms.

To comply with the law. We may disclose information that we believe we are required to provide by law—including requests from law enforcement or national security authorities. Whenever permitted and possible, we will notify you in advance before complying with any such request. You can find more information about how we respond to requests from government agencies and law enforcement.
In case of emergency. We may share information if we believe it is necessary to prevent serious personal harm.
To enforce our policies and exercise our rights. We may share information if necessary to enforce the Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, or any of our other policies, or to protect our rights, property, and safety or that of others.
With our related companies. We may share information with our related companies, including parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and others under common ownership and control.
Sales, acquisitions, or transfer of assets. We may share information in the event that FightersTech is considering or undergoing a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or a sale, transfer, or change of ownership of the company or any of its assets.
Aggregated or anonymized information. We may share aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify you. For example, we may share aggregated statistics about our users to inform our partners or the general public about the performance of our business, features, or promotions.
Data retention
We retain personal information until we determine that it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or retained, or if we are no longer legally required to keep it. We retain some data for the duration of your FightersTech account. This includes information about how you use FightersTech, which helps us understand how users interact with our services, what features or products they may want, and how to improve our services. This includes information such as your username, email address, and phone number. Some of this information may be retained for longer periods for specific purposes, as described below. You can delete your account at any time; additionally, if your account remains inactive for two years, we may delete it.
Certain business and legal requirements may mean that we need to retain information for specific periods of time, some of which may extend beyond the deletion of your account. For each type of information, we set these data retention periods based on the reason it was collected:
Age verification. If you send us an identification document to request age verification for your account, we will delete it within 60 days after the age verification request is closed.
Backups. Our database retains stored backups for 30–45 days, after which they are deleted.
Compliance with our legal obligations. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods than those described, for legal reasons. For example, when you make a purchase on FightersTech, we are required to retain transaction information for specific periods in accordance with accounting and tax regulations.
Maintaining our security commitments. We retain certain information—including email addresses and phone numbers—for 48 hours after deletion for trust and safety reasons. If a user has been reported or flagged for acting against the Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines, we may retain that information for up to 2 years. This helps us keep FightersTech safer, prevent fraud, and stop bad actors from creating new accounts or continuing to violate our policies in other ways.
Exercise or defense of legal claims. When you contact FightersTech directly—for example, through support inquiries or requests to access your information—we retain the related information for 5 years from the closure of your request, in case a dispute arises or it becomes necessary to defend our rights.
Service continuity: If you delete your account, we will continue to retain and display content you shared with other users, although it will no longer be linked to your account. This is to ensure that others can maintain access to content that was shared with them at some point. If you wish to delete specific content, please do so before deleting your account. You can do this by following the instructions in the “Information you can delete directly from the services” section, or contact us at privacy@fighterstech.com if you need assistance.
When you delete an account, the deletion is executed within a few hours—typically between 1 and 48 hours if everything goes smoothly. Once that period ends, we begin the process of removing identifying data and anonymizing or aggregating the remaining information. This happens quickly—unless the information is subject to a longer retention period as described above—but it may take up to 45 days to remove identifying data from backups. We will retain aggregated and anonymized information, which no longer identifies you and is no longer linked to you as an individual.
As stated in our Privacy Policy, all our users have control over their information and can directly edit or delete their account data, as well as limit the information we process. If you are located in the European Union, the GDPR grants you the following specific rights, which you may exercise directly through the FightersTech app or by contacting us:
Right to access your personal data.
Right to rectify your personal data if it is incorrect.
Right to erase your personal data.
Right to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to data portability.
Right to object to the processing of your personal data.
If you have any questions about data retention or our deletion
practices, or if you wish to exercise control over your information,
please contact us at privacy@fighterstech.com
How we protect your information
We take a number of measures to help protect your information. All information transmitted within our services is encrypted both in transit and at rest. To safeguard user information, we implement various security measures. These include the use of secure connections—HTTPS—for all data transfers, encryption of stored data, and measures to ensure the integrity of our servers. This integrity is maintained through the use of secret variable keys that are not exposed in the application code hosted on the server.
How you can control your privacy
We believe users should be able to customize their experience on FightersTech, including their privacy settings. Since each country’s laws have different requirements, we believe all users should have at least a basic ability to configure this experience, no matter where they live. Here, we explain how you can control how we process your data, how to delete or correct certain data, and how you can request access to it. Additionally, citizens of certain countries may have other rights granted by their local laws. We provide information about all of this in the relevant sections below
Be aware of the FightersTech spaces you choose to participate in
You can choose which spaces you participate in and what information you add to our services, as well as which messages you send or post, who you interact with—e.g., one or more users, or a potentially unlimited group—what information you include in your profile, and whether you link third-party services to your FightersTech account, among other things. For example, if you share content in certain spaces, such as servers listed in Server Discovery or public invitation links, it will be accessible to everyone.
Information provided by volunteer contributors. When you contact us to collaborate on translating the application via the provided email address, we will use your personal data solely to manage that collaboration, communicate information related to the activity, or resolve questions or issues related to the submitted translations. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required.
Customize your personal FightersTech settings
We offer a variety of settings that allow you to personalize your experience on FightersTech. Some of these are related to specific features—for example, you can customize your username in the app via the User Settings page (the gear-shaped icon).
You can also access other privacy-related settings in the User Settings. For example, you can choose to filter potential explicit content or decide who can add you as a friend, among other options. Here, you can also limit certain types of data processing:
Limit our ability to use your data to improve our services. OWe offer certain settings that allow you to limit the information we collect to better understand how users use our services or which features or products they may want, and more generally, to improve our business. If you disable these settings, we will stop collecting specific data related to logins and other circumstances, as explained in the settings themselves.
Limit our ability to personalize FightersTech for you. There are certain settings that control whether and how we can personalize FightersTech for you. These settings determine whether we can offer you recommendations or content and features within the app. If you disable them, we will stop collecting specific data related to logins and other circumstances, as explained in the settings themselves.
You can get more details about these and other privacy-related settings by contacting privacy@fighterstech.com . Default settings and their availability may vary depending on various factors, such as your age or location.
Suspend or delete your account
You can suspend or delete your account from the User Settings menu. If you suspend your account, the processing of new data will be paused for 6 months, but you can reactivate it later without restrictions. If you permanently delete your account, identifying information will be erased, and other data will be anonymized, as explained in our Data Retention Policy. You can learn more about account deletion in this Help Center article and about deactivation in this one.
Manage your content and servers
You can edit or delete certain data within the services:
You can edit or delete any message you’ve sent or content you’ve posted if you still have access to the space where it was published.
You can edit or delete a FightersTech tournament server if you have the necessary permissions.
You can edit or delete a match from a FightersTech server if you have the necessary permissions.
FightersTech may retain content for use as described in other sections of this policy and in our Data Retention Policy. Additionally, in certain circumstances, we may be legally required to retain specific data even if you delete it from your account.
Access to your information
If you want to know what information we have collected about you, you can request a copy of your data in the section “Settings → About → Legal → ARCO-POL: Request my data.” You will receive your data package within 30 days. The data is provided in commonly used digital formats such as HTML, CSV, JSON, and any other formats you may have used when uploading attachments to the services.
We are headquartered in Spain and process and store information on servers located in Spain. We may also store information on servers and equipment in other countries, depending on several factors, including the locations of our users and service providers. These data transfers allow us to provide you with our services. By accessing or using our services, or by providing information to us in any other way, you understand that your information will be processed, transferred, and stored in Spain and other countries, where data protection laws may differ or where you may not have the same rights as under your local legislation.
When we transfer data outside the European Economic Area, we use Standard Contractual Clauses—Module 1 and Module 2—and the adequacy decisions of the European Commission for certain countries, as applicable, or any other legal mechanism or condition provided by law for such data transfers.
If you have complaints or questions about our compliance with the principles of the Data Privacy Framework, please contact us at privacy@fighterstech.com If we do not resolve your complaint, you can submit it at no cost to JAMS. In certain cases specified under the principles of the Data Privacy Framework, you may have the option to seek binding arbitration to resolve the dispute. For more information about the principles of the Data Privacy Framework and to view our certification, please visit the Data Privacy Framework website of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
We allow external developers to create certain features or other services and offer them within the FightersTech services. For example, server administrators can add bots created by third-party developers that provide functions such as content moderation and interactive games. Similarly, you may have access to games or activities created by third parties within the services.
These third-party services must comply with all applicable policies—including, often, our Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. Due to these policies, we require developers to have a privacy policy that clearly explains how they handle your information. Review these privacy policies, as they describe what bots and applications may do with your information. We also require certain popular bots to request access to specific data. However, since these services are operated by third parties, we do not control them or the information they collect. It is your choice whether to participate in a server that uses bots and whether to use third-party services in general.
You can contact the Data Protection Officer of FightersTech Spain at dpo@fighterstech.com .
Information about local privacy laws
Certain local laws, such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), require services to provide information about the data they collect, how they use it, and the legal basis for processing it.
Exercising your rights: As described in the section “How you can control your privacy,” all our users have control over their information and can edit or delete it directly from their account, as well as limit the data we process. If you are a resident of certain regions, such as the European Union, you may have additional rights like those listed below, as outlined in the specific breakdown for each state and region. You may exercise these rights directly through the FightersTech app or by contacting us:
Right to access your personal data
Right to rectify your personal data if it is incorrect
Right to erase your personal data
Right to restrict the processing of your personal data
Right to data portability
Right to object to the processing of your personal data
Right to withdraw consent — withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal
If you have any questions about these rights or wish to exercise control over your information, please contact us at privacy@fighterstech.com .
We will update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We always indicate the date of the latest changes when they are published and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a clearer notice as required by law—such as by sending an email or displaying a notification in the app, highlighting the changes within the services.
